Krupnyk Vodka Punch

Ingredients:
1/3 cup water
2 to 3 peppercorns
zest of one lemon
1 whole cinnamon stick
2 tablespoons dark honey
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup water
2 cups vodka

Boil 1/3 cup of water in a pot; add peppercorns, lemon zest, and cinnamon. Simmer for 10 minutes then strain and reserve the liquid. Add the honey and sugar to 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil. Remove the foam. Combine reserved liquid and honey mixture and add to vodka. Heat on low then pour into punch cups. Serve immediately. Serves six.
